SPACEART.
The theme of this year's Naxos Festival focuses on the relationship between space and art, on their interplay — that is, how space is inhabited poetically, how it is experienced authentically, how the "inner space" is connected to the "outer environment". In this context, Stelios Krasanakis and Marios Vazaios invite the leading visual artist Nikos Alexiou to participate in this dialogue. Inspired by the experience at the Bazaios Tower, we suggest a tour of other towers from the thirty or so that are scattered throughout the island.
