The Naxos Festival, in the context of the celebration of the "Iakovos Kambanellis Literary Year", of the Ministry of Culture and Sports in partnership with the Municipality of Naxos and Small Cyclades, presents:
18/8 THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY and THE FESTIVAL
in a single performance, starring Dimitris Fragioglou, and directed by Katerina Polychronopoulou.
Iakovos Kampanellis surprises us every time with his sharp and timeless spirit, his genuine and complete theatrical discourse and the original and loving look with which he deals with human weaknesses.
In these two one-act monologues, we encounter two characters who share a common fate. Walter Mitty lives through his dreams and imagination, while the appointed Mayor, full of insecurities and anxieties, is led to self-destruction and collapse on the most important day of his life.
